Fads in pop culture come and go. There are some things that you want to remember forever. It is important to get professional wedding photos taken by a professional photographer. It is also nice to rent a photo booth and get photos of your guests being silly and having fun.
But what does your guest say?
Find out by renting one of our booths and utilize the shout out video feature. It is one of the major reasons to choose Catch Photo Booths for your wedding. After your guests photos are taken, they will be prompted by the photo booth attendant to leave you a short congratulations video. Many times the video is complete around the same time the photos are printed. We put all of the photos and videos on a thumb drive so you can have them to keep.
Incorporate your photo booth videos into your official wedding video.
We will gladly let your videographer copy the shout out videos from the photo booth, so they can include them into your official wedding video.
Since so many of you are singing the song, we have some new "What does the fox say" props that are super fun.

Tips for a Spectacular Sparkler Wedding Send Off
In the photo booth rental business, you see a lot fun and exciting wedding trends and ideas. One trend that is getting particularly popular is the sparkler wedding send off. Here are some tips to make your sparkler send off fun and safe:
1. Use 36 inch long sparklers
Wedding sparklers usually come in lengths of 10, 20 or 36 inches. The 36 inch sparklers last for about 3 minutes. Their extra long length makes them a little safer and easier to handle than their shorter counter parts. The extra time that they burn will allow for you to do some fun and creative things with your sparklers.
2. Assign someone to coordinate the sparkler send off
Pick a responsible, preferably sober friend or family member to coordinate the wedding sparkler send off.
The sparkler send off coordinator will:
Get two helpers to assist in passing out the lit sparklers
Have the guests form two lines along the exit path
Light the sparklers in groups of 10-15
Go down the lines and pass out the sparklers
Have the guests put the spent sparkler sticks into a metal bucket
3. Use a propane torch to light the sparklers
You want to have all of the sparklers lit when you walk down the exit lane, right? Then the key is to light all the sparklers at the same time. The safest way to accomplish this is with a propane torch. Have helpers hold the sparklers in groups of 10-15. Light the ends of the sparklers with the propane torch.
4. Make sure the venue knows your plans
Your venue may have rules or policies that will need to be followed when performing the sparkler send off. We witnessed a sparkler send off at an upscale hotel. A few guests walked back into the hotel while their sparklers were still lit. Suddenly the fire alarm in the hotel began to sound. It is always best to be safe and respectful.
5. Think of a fun and creative picture with the sparklers
Some couples spell words with sparklers while their photographer takes a photo in long exposure mode before the official send off. Another fun idea is to pose and kiss under the lit sparklers. The night is yours, so do something fun and creative.

Best Photo Booth Value vs. Lowest Photo Booth Price
A Google search for "Utah photo booth rental" will display ads for a few companies offering to have the lowest photo booth rental prices in Utah. One company claims to beat any companies quoted price by 10%. It would be an easy decision to make if all photo booths were the same and had the same features. Some companies charge extra for props, set up, travel, a custom designed border and etc. So how do you determine the best photo booth value compared to the lowest photo booth cost?
Here are some helpful questions to ask while inquiring about a photo booth:
How much photo booth running time is included in the price?
You need to know how much time of actual photo booth running time you are paying for. Some companies may charge for set up or take down time.
How fast is the printer?
Photo booth printer speeds can vary from company to company. If the company uses a dye sublimation printer, the speed will be relatively fast and good quality. Ink jet printers can take over a minute to print 2 x 6 photo strips.
Is the printer contained in the photo booth? Does it auto cut the pictures into photo strips?
I recently heard from a bride that we had met at a bridal show. She decided to go with a different company for her wedding. She had assumed that all photo booths had the printer contained in them. She was shocked when she saw the bulky printer on the table at her elegant wedding. She was also surprised when the attendant was cutting the guests pictures by hand.
How many people does the photo booth hold? What does the booth look like?
Small photo booths work well at some events, while bigger booths work better at others. It is important to get the right booth for your wedding. I would rather a bride choose another photo booth rental company than force a booth on her that does not fit her event. This is why we offer different types of photo booths . You want a professional looking booth for your wedding. Ask to see photos or videos of the photo booth. We love it when brides ask to come see our booths before they book with us.
What features are included and which are extra?
So what features are you getting for the price? This is a list of features and extras that photo booth rental companies offer. It always helps to know up front what is included and what is extra.
Props
Customized border
Custom back drop
"Shout Out" Videos
Social Media sharing
CD/thumb drive of digital files
Scrapbook
Travel fees
Onsite attendant
Do you have a business license and insurance?
Some venues will only let you use onsite vendors that carry liability insurance. Whether or not they charge you sales tax may be an indicator as to the business being licensed and registered.
It is our goal to provide the best photo booth rental value for the price. We don't believe in hidden fees or charges. We would love for you to call us and ask questions. We want you to get the perfect photo booth for your wedding or event.

10 Suggestions for Awesome Photo Booth Props
You wouldn't go to a 3D movie then decide not to wear the 3D glasses. Renting a photo booth without having props is like watching a 3D movie without the 3D glasses. Sure you saw the movie, but it wasn't enhanced to its full potential. Props are one the best things about a photo booth rental. The photo booth props bring fun and creativity to your event.
Here are 10 tips for having props at your photo booth event:
1. Make sure the props fit the theme of the event.
One of the common reasons brides don't want props at their wedding is that the wedding may be too elegant or classy for props. The solution is to have elegant and classy props at the elegant and classy wedding. Guests will still have fun with classy props and they won't deter from the elegance of the event.
2. Fewer props can be better than a table loaded with props.
Some of the funnest photo booth events have a small selection of themed props. One of our favorite prop combinations is mustaches and lips on sticks. They don't take up a lot of space, they are fun and are fairly easy to manage. A table heaping with unorganized props can distract from an elegant evening.
3. Assign someone to help organize the prop table.
In the excitement of using photo booth props the table can become a mess. It is often difficult for the photo booth attendant to run the photo booth and organize the props. Props may fall off the table and break.
4. Just because the props come from Etsy doesn't mean they're high quality.
Guests can be hard on props. Some paper props and prop kits do not hold up to the wear and tear of an event. For mustaches and lips we love Whisker Works They have many styles of mustaches to choose from and they last through many photo booth events.
5. Paint picture frames in your wedding colors.
Picture frames painted in your wedding colors can be a great addition to the photo booth. Know what size of photo booth you will be using so the frame will fit nicely in the booth.
6. You never know where you will find fun props.
Party and costume stores are great places to find photo booth props. There are stores that you wouldn't think of as places to find fun props. Keep your eyes out for possible photo booth props as you go to boutiques and specialty shops, you never know what you will find. Anyone can pick up cheap props at the dollar store. As I exited the Mummy ride at Universal Studios Florida, I found these amazing Egyptian props.
One of my favorite themed weddings was centered around super hero's. We used super hero
masks paired with action blurbs. The guests had a great time in the photo booth and the happy couple received some awesome pictures from the photo booth.
8. Use props that are hot items in pop culture.
Mustaches have been the popular photo booth prop for the last few years. We recently had a groom that was a huge Duck Dynasty fan. He provided Duck Dynasty beards for the photo booth.
We like to use sanitizing wipes and Lysol spray to clean our props. Venetian masks are fun but
they can get smudged with make up easily. Having clean and sanitary props will make your
guests more inclined to use them.
10. Personalize your props.
Add a personal touch to your props. Do you have special items that characterized your courtship? Find or make props that are uniquely you. Make mustaches with your names on them. Is there items that represent inside jokes that only bridesmaids and groomsmen would know? Use them in the photo booth to create a whole new level of fun.
At Catch Photo Booths, we provide props in all of photo booth rental packages at no additional cost.
We believe that props will help make your wedding or event a fun and creative experience.

The Social Sharing Kiosk
The social sharing kiosk is a new photo booth feature that enables guests to socially interact with their photos outside of the photo booth. The challenge with having a social photo booth has always been managing the amount of time guests are in the photo booth sharing their photos. The social sharing kiosk will allow guests to view their photos outside of the photo booth. They will have option to upload them to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr or their personal email. The kiosk will also allow them the option of printing additional copies of their photos.
This is a wonderful enhancement to our wedding photo booth rentals. We are also excited to offer this feature to our corporate clients as a way to get more brand recognition at corporate events and trade shows. The social sharing kiosk will be an add on to our existing rental packages.
